Customers and partners are starting to arrive in Seattle for the sold out Visio Conference, starting tomorrow. We're very excited to roll out Visio "12" in detail publicly for the first time. We think that you'll love what we have done with the product for this release.
Although the keynotes and sessions start tomorrow (Thursday), the reception tonight at the Marriott Waterfront is a great time to meet with members of the Visio team and with other conference attendees. Although the Track sessions will be great, I always find these more informal times are what really makes or breaks a conference. This is also a good time to register in advance of the Thursday morning rush -- you don't want to miss the Steve Ballmer keynote.
I'd also like to call out the "Birds of a Feather" sessions that will be held on Thursday evening. These are an opportunity for attendees to propose and lead discussion topics that might not be covered elsewhere in the conference. You propose a session and everyone votes on the sessions they want to attend. After that it is up to you -- Visio team members will be there to answer questions and help with logistics as needed but will mostly be interested in learning about the topics you are focused on.
